Summer is nearly over....

Boy, that went fast! What's new? Me, my work moved us into a new office that we own, and my boss and I got to plan it from the studs out. It came out really nice, if I do say so myself. In May, we did our usual Ladies Assemble, this time, we all met at Jen's house. Before the gathering, Nin and I meandered up the CA coast, where I fell and cracked my ribs. I'm so talented! Still not writing :( Work keeps me very stressed, and very busy, anxiety is my constant companion. Coming up, Jen scored us all tickets to see John Cleese and Eric Idle in Vegas in November, so that should be fun! Going to Park City for a work meeting in a couple weeks, and I love Park City, so the change of scene will be nice. I'm looking forward to cooler autumn temps, that's for sure! Hope everyone is well! In other news....

Nin and I completed a rewatch of all the LotR and Hobbit movies. We finally cracked open the extended Battle of the Five Armies while we were at it. It was my least fave of the 3, but I think the extended version actually improved it. Last night, I rewatched, and Nin watched all the way through for the first time, North and South, the BBC Richard Armitage one. Tonight, I'm thinking of trying out Stranger Things on Netflix, as I've heard so much good about it.

Did anyone else watch The Last Kingdom? I really liked it! Sort of Vikings from the other POV. I'd read one of the novels years ago, and had enjoyed it. We also really enjoyed Outlander this season. Oh, and Poldark! Pretty!!
