A More Permanent Hell

We've been rewatching Methos Highlander eps, which has made me want to write the story I never got around to with Sean Burns, One of them, anyway. Also, Longmire is back. We've been good, not binge watching, trying to make it last. We've seen 5 so far, all really good. It was great having Agents of SHIELD back, but I wasn't too keen on the Ghost Rider addition. I felt I was watching Supernatural. But I'll reserve judgment till I've seen a few more. As for new autumn shows, so far the only one I am interested in seeing is the time travel one. Timeless, I think it's called? Though apparently there's a show in the works based on the movie Time After Time, so will probably check that out when it arrives. What I'm really looking forward to is American Gods.

I recently saw a mention of this go by on a comm. Looked it up and it's in S2. Never heard of it before. Is it any good? Says Timothy Ombudsman is in it, which is a plus.

Well, we did it, Nin and I canceled Dish Network. Since I'd never been able to get them to come move my dish so the neighbour's tree in spring/summer didn't block my signal, and the many rate increases (for mostly channels I never watched), we decided to try out just using Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and an over the air antenna for a few weeks. Guess what? We didn't miss the dish. And $$$$ saved! So far, so good. Will see how we're liking it six months from now.

Really? I'm sorry, but my winner to loser was the exact opposite of the judges - go figure.

I wrote three pages while waiting for TV tonight! Go me! But now, after watching tonight's Grey's, I'm doing some mental revisions. It's been a long time since I've written fic for a show that's still on the freakin' air. Hard to get used to again.

Ugly Betty: it was actually pretty good! I'm surprised. Will watch next week.

Supernatural: decided to watch it tonight and let Nin watch it this weekend. I'm about 15 minutes in now.

Okay, this becomes the show for me to watch when I need cheering up. I couldn't stop laughing! The upstairs neighbours probably heard me! This eppy was the the Robin Hood one. I just about died when they all broke into a rendition of "Everything I Do".
