We're actually going somewhere tomorrow -- to San Juan Bautista for the arts, crafts and wine street fair. It's about 45 minutes north of us, and is a nice place to visit even without an event. They have a Mission, it sits right on the San Andreas (the Mission has its own seismograph), so you can look down into the fault, and the area around the Mission is a State Historic Park, complete with old hotel, meeting hall, stables, etc. I went to a California Historic Recreation dance there once, complete with me wearing hoop skirts! It's also very haunted. All in all, a fun place to spend an afternoon.
We're meeting up with a few friends after lunch -- Tri Tip!!! -- and will wander around and see what there is to see, and maybe stick around for dinner after.

I'm buying that DVD player/ burner next week, so I should have it all figured out by the time PW turns up on Holby City. I'll also get my trusty computer expert to get my programmes sorted.
It's the Dublin Fringe festival at the moment and I'm being dragged out to some tent with a funk band, tonight. Apparently, getting me drunk last night wasn't enough, now my friends/conspirers want to see me drunk and dancing...
I almost feel sorry for them...almost....
