Powering Up

Our electricity was out for nearly two hours, so now I'm behind on what I wanted to get done today. I have stack of A/P to get through, and I need to get a jump on Monday's payroll since Thursday si a holiday. Well, at least it's Friday.

I didn't know you did payroll, I do too. We do a semi monthly which sometimes makes it easy and sometimes makes it hard. Especially when you have to do it 10 days in advance most of the time.

I work for a city gov't and every payroll has to be voted on at the twice a month meetings. Oy. They have contracts to pay the troops, its not like they are not going to, just posturing and grandstanding.

Ack, our lads would stage a revolt if pay didn't come out in time - but then there's only 9 of us and it's monthly payroll.. that I need to calculate by Wed pm. Pagh, tis the weekend first :)
