Everyone Seems To Turn Up

Seems like just about everyone from genre TV is eventually showing up on 24 (or Stargate, or did). Now a combo of the two:

Fox has confirmed that Michael Shanks, who plays super-scholar Daniel Jackson on Sci Fi’s “Stargate SG-1,” which returns April 13 with its final batch of episodes, will appear on “24” this season. Perhaps Jack Bauer comes across a Goa’uld tablet he needs translated?

Although I've finally gotten past (purportedly) my SG1 days, I still have this terrible weakness for RDA and MS.

I wonder how big a role it will be, and if this would have been the role PW would have had had he not been doing Holby.

RDA was still on General Hospital when I started watching it back in the dawn of time. I guess he's been a contast feature on my TV screen for quite a while :) Now if Ben Browder can just get a steady gig, I'd be a happy fangirl.

I've been watching for him, but he hasn't popped up yet. However, James Horan had a small scene on 24 last week. :)

I'd heard he was, but I can't quite remember what he looks like and didn't recognize him. But I did see the actor that played Martouf on SG1 as one of the CTU agents working with Ricky Schroders character. It took a few minutes for me to place him, but when I did, I shouted 'Martouf!' in my empty living room [g]

I haven't done a lot of FK icons, but I plan to rectify that over the next few weeks. I've had some specific requests, and I would just like more [g] MORE! [ahem] I need one of every outfit Janette wore. Now that would take a bit of doing. But it's a goal!

*lol* I do things like that too - once I see a familiar face my brain simply has to figure out where from, even if it means a visit to IMDB, much to Rob's despair :p

It even seems to spill over to series I never watch. There was a British actor in a recent SG1 ep - I spent half the episode working out that he'd played an evil bastard in Eastenders (UK soap of idiocy that I hate). Either way, the words they gave him sounded so wrong coming out of that Cockney mouth *face!palm*

I used to watch Eastenders years ago. They played it, and probably still do, on our local public TV station.
