ninjababe, and we've decided that since we've paid over half our membership fee so far, and it's non refundable, it would be silly not to go to the actual con itself. So, looks like we're going! Memphis itself was always on, just wasn't too sure about the event itself.
We're probably in the minority, but whether there's a new guest or not doesn't really matter. I was going for Peter and for friends, and I still have the friends part, and Peter isn't really replaceable, nor can I really think of anyone I'd want to see. So whoever the new guest is won't play a factor in the decision to attend. Only RL will do that! As usual. Hey, if there's no new guest, we can just do our own panels and Q&A's from the ranks of the attendees! A do-it-yourself con :)
