So I went looking for Malaysian Cookbooks, and look what I found!

Singaporean, Malaysian & Indonesian Cuisine

The Book of Malaysian Cooking

Cradle of Flavor: Home Cooking from the Spice Islands of Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia

The Essential Wok Cookbook

And then I took a detour off to one of my favourites -- Middle Eastern and Mediterranean:

Spice: Flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean

Arabesque: A Taste of Morocco, Turkey, and Lebanon

Now, which one do I get first?!?! If only I had a few hundred bucks lying around! Yes, I have a cookbook addiction.

Yes, I have a cookbook addiction.

Hmm, in a way, so do I - only I loathe cooking...How about you? *curious*

Oh, in that case you're allowed to visit me. *ggg*
However, I'd better not introduce you to my mother-in-law, because, well, she has this room-high wall of cookbooks at home... ;-)

That works, since I love cooking for other people :)

Besides the books, I have half a dozen binders. If I find a recipe on the internet, I print it out, or if I find something in a magazine, I photocopy it.

Hee - now we'd just have to get you to Europe and persuade hubby to let you in his kitchen *ggg*
But then, between cooking and Monty Python chatter, I'm sure you'd be friends in no time. ;-)

If it helps, the first book spelled Satay wrong, and I totally disagree that Bak Kut Teh is Sporean. It's Malaysian, damn it! Yes, a do have a bit of bias against Singapore.... LOL! If you want just Malaysian/Sporean stuff, I think the 3rd book looks to be the best choice of the lot from the small blurps I've read.

Ooh, you and I, both! I have so many cookbooks! And of course, I only use the same few over and over again. ;) I think I have a Moroccan cookbook, come to think of it...

Yep! The one I use most is 'A 1000 Mexican Recipes'. It's pretty much the perfect cookbook.
