Friday Night Shout Out

Nin just went to work, so here I be. Watching House Hunters, thinking about seeing if I can sustain that writing feeling from last night, and wondering who else is around.

I can't believe how many great comments I got on the fic I posted last night! What a nice ongoing surprise it was today. I'm hoping to sustain the writing vibe tonight and see if I can write something new, or work on one of my WIPs.

This time next week, I'll be racing around to get ready to leave for Utah on Saturday. It seemed like vacation was ages away, and now, we're practically on top of it. Nin wants to paint her room there, so we'll start the vacation week doing that, then head down to Disneyland for Thursday and Friday with my brother. Then back to St. George for a day before heading back home on Sunday. A friend is going to cat sit for us, so we don't have to take Sparrow with us this time! Makes me happy, and I know it will make the cat happy!

Actually, I'd prefer bad weather... :)

We seem to have more fun (and quicker lines) when it's not clement.

(Hah! I used clement in a sentence! Go me!)

Then again, it could be that we usually take our trips during the winter, so the weather is almost always bad... hmmm...
