They sure do know how to suck the romance out of life. And looking back, this show has never been a supporter of marriage. But I'm still disappointed. I really thought Rory would say yes. More fool me.
I was so pleased Rory didn't marry Logan. She's so young and unformed and with so much ahead of her. Nice that she took the route Paris had espoused, while Paris is sweetly in love and going off to India. I'm relieved for Lorelei, too.
The numbness and aftershock of the breakup was underplayed too much, though.
I'm still ticked off this morning [g] I feel like Charlie Brown and the football with GG these days. But only two more episodes for them to screw with me a little more. Maybe Zach and Lane and Jackson and Sookie will file for divorce in the series ender!
Things I did like were them making Rory's graduation part of the town meeting, Richard and Emily singing to Rory, and of course, Kirk in a box!
I still haven't seen the whole episode. I thought it odd that they spent so much time with the Logan relationship only to snip it off so quickly, but honestly, I didn't find it out of character for Logan to issue an ultimatum and then sulk off. Maybe there was some original plan to have him return like bad-penny Christopher, or maybe they were playing safe in case the series were canceled and knew they couldn't go out with her marrying and moving away.
