After We Finish

So, in a few weeks, after we finish up discussing the Methos episodes, I thought we could move on to the rest of the series. I started this series of discussions initially for Alison's benefit, but everyone seems to be enjoying the discussions in general, so I figure why not keep on going? Now, instead of discussing every single episode, I thought instead, I'd take a poll of sorts to see what episodes you all want to talk about. I'm not sure how best to set this up, so chime in if you have a better idea. I'm thinking of taking suggestions in the comments and putting all of those in a poll, and then going with say, the top 20? 30? Or a variation on the poll, but do it season by season? Or should we just start at the beginning and do all of them? Thoughts? Ideas?

I was also thinking this might be fun to do with Forever Knight, my other love, if there was interest.

That would be fun to do it with Forever Knight, and we could announce it on the lists, etc., and could even start a new community for it or something.

How about Wednesday, we just start with Dark Knight I/II and see how it goes? I'm not to up to speed on FK fandom on LJ, so if you'd want to announce it in places you think it should be?

There isn't much traffic for FK on Livejournal so we'd need to publicize it in a few places, including FORKNI-L. If you want to host it on your journal, that would be great. I'd probably only discuss it using the fkfanfic journal, since I try to keep this one private and separate (as much as possible).

Well FORKNI is about it for me. And considering the reaction I got when I mentioned LJ as a great place to post fic, I'm not sure I dare mention discussing the eps here :)

Well, one idea here. I started a fk_recs community, where we could start the conversation, I can add you as a maintainer if you're interested, not sure how much attention it would get. Or you can post it in your journal.

I'll be happy to advertise it wherever, I'm not shy when it comes to FK promotion :).

I'm not familiar with who runs the 2 FK communities, so maybe starting a new one might generate some new traffic. "recs" is for recommendations, and could be anything from graphics, videos, fan fiction, news, or we could expand it to include episode reviews.

Between my blog, and the LJ, and the giant House email list, I think I'm at my limit :) I'll just stick them here, and see how it goes. But promotion would be good!

Discussing Forever Knight would, of course, be COOL. :-) You could probably do it in the fk_freaks community; it's certainly w/in comm specs, if you don't want to clog up your own journal.

Coincidentally, I asked people for their favorite non-Methos episodes on my LJ -- there are lots of responses, so you might get a good starting list from them for your poll. At the top seem to be "Courage," "Band of Brothers," "Counterfeit," "Studies in Lght"...

That would of course be great more for me to read (i have not seen any non methos episodes!)
