Two 'Baaaaaaas' for the Price of One!

Finally hitting the two memes I've been seeing around the last week or so.

One: Name a character and I'll give you three or more "facts" from my personal fanon about that character. If it isn't a fandom I know anything about, I'll make something up.

Two: If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

1: Not a fandom I know a lot about (other than watching a few of the movies a few years back) so made up! He likes apple chutney, is fond of bluebells, and has a secret yearning to be a blacksmith.

How about Methos for the first one, and I'm probably more normal than most people for fanfic combosl. Pure HL/FK x-overs are always good.

BTW, is that icon asking about the last beer or the lost beer. If it's Methos, it's appropriate either way.

Let's see, Methos... He doesn't marry other immortals because he had a bad experience way back when. Despite appearances, he wants to be accepted for himself -- he does care. Duncan reminds him of someone Methos used to be, so long ago, and that's why he takes such an interest in him -- he doesn't want Duncan to take the same dark path he did.

Jack Sparrow uses the addle brained rather dim thing as a facade. He's sharp as a tack and he's constantly underestimated -- a good survival trait! The real Jack is the one that shot Barbosa at the end of CotBP. Did you see the look in his eyes? That's the real Jack.

Okay, that was a little unfair and obscure, I admit. What about... hmmm. Janette, when she wasn't with either LaCroix or Nick.

I kind of thought it might. I will attempt a Janette/Methos for you, I just have to work it out.

Janette, I can do. She feels second best to Nick in LaCroix's eyes, though she knows LaCroix loves her. Nick is an obsession from when she was young that she can't quite give up -- and she despises herself for it. Family is important to her, taking care of family is important to her and she tries to replace the family, that as a mortal, betrayed her.

Errr.. sorry, you wanted before she was with LaCroix, so when she was mortal then. Okay, let me give that a shot. She loved her family and their betrayal was almost impossible for her to bear. She held out hope, without cause, that something would free her. She still believed in some greater good even in her despair.

That would be nifty! When I write them, they can barely stand each other! Not without reasons, of course, and they did eventually reach a truce, but still [g]
