Our region free DVD player came into today! That means finally being able to watch my Xmas pressie, HEX! I'd set it up now, but I'm being a good girl and writing [g]

Dunno if it works yet. Haven't set it up -- been on a fic writing jag :)

Okay, I ordered one too. I wonder if I play a dvd (PALS) on this player and record it on my dvd recorder if it will record in NTSC? When I play PALS VHS tapes on my Worldwide VCR player and record, it will record in NTSC.

Cool! For your TV to display the DVD, it has to receive an NTSC signal. So what you record will also be NTSC. I double checked with my boss to make sure I was giving you correct info, just in case! :)
