Heh, I've been spending a lot of time lately being bitter about "creative decisions" that have been made in various fandoms I'm either in or was flirting with, and between that and the whole "mass deletion/suspension" business I've been thinking maybe I should have a "Bitter Old Fandom Hag" icon of my very own.
My beret icon seems to be apt, at the moment...and, of course, I have my Jarvis Cocker icon to fall back on if things get really bad (he always says it beter than me!)
The quote is from an Rl friend of mine who was complaining about Apple Mac and their 'America-centric' keyboards on one of his posts (http://natural20.livejournal.com/224520.html). It's basically means he putting on his 'French and Revolutionary' hat and it just tickled my funnybone, because it's a very him phrase to use...so I, of course, nicked it!
I've been so out of sorts lately that I went with a brat theme. This icon is of a very young Adrian Paul having a serious pout and wanting a sword he won't use for about thirty years.
