Many, many years ago, I was at a Scottish country dance weekend at Asilomar, and Alasdair Fraser and his wife were there as dancers as well. After a long Saturday of classes, was the ball, and after the ball, food! By around 2am, you're past exhaustion and keep telling yourself you need to get to bed since class starts early the next morning. There's only about two dozen of you left in the room, the diehards. Then, Alasdair pulls out his fiddle and starts to play. Words can not describe the sheer beauty of it all.
