And that's it, the end of the series, and I'm using a whole bunch of tissues. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a show so much. Here's hoping the spinoff Paul Gross talked about at Sundance comes to be. [crosses fingers and toes]

Seriously, I can't recommend this series highly enough. It's perfect. And, all three seasons are now out on DVD!

I put the first season on my netflix ages ago, because I love Paul. He's got a gorgeous voice and a gorgeous face, and an amazing amount of acting skillz.

Good to know I probably won't be disappointed. =D

LOVE Slings & Arrows. LOVE. I've only seen s1 so far, but it's by far the funniest thing I've ever seen on TV. I keep forgetting to go in search of the other two seasons, though!

I started watching it because a friend of mine knew I was crazy in love with Shakespeare and thought I'd enjoy it. And I did.

Then Geraint Wyn Davies guest starred in season 2, and I loved it.

It's just a great show all around.

Slings 3

The final series is all the more tear-jerky because William Hutt, who played Charles Kingman/Lear so profoundly beautifully, did just die in real life, of leukemia. What an amazing actor. I saw him do Lear in real life 10 years ago at Stratford, but I had bad seats and couldn't really feel his power the way I could here. Martha Burns, Paul's wife and Ellen in Slings, played Regan in that production. Anyway, I've been a Paul fan for 12 years now and it's so gratifying to see more and more people discover him, especially in something of this calibre.

Love this show! The reason why I watched it the first time was because I knew Ger would be in in S2. But after the first few eps I discovered how much I liked it, and I still do. Great show!

I started watching it mid way through first season. Have loved every moment of it.
