Hey, that works for me. Hell, I just finally worked up the courage to join the fanclub--and I feel like such a fangirl to join a fanclub for a man who is SIX YEARS YOUNGER than I am.

I would never have the courage to go to one of these.

Heh! Well, my anxiety actually stems from having to get on an airplane. By the time we get to the actual flight, I'll be having nightmares.

But, YAY on joining the club! I've been a member since 1996, and for the most part, it's been a good experience :)

I don't do well before I get on a plane. But then I have Ativan prescribed from my doctor, so I take a pill about two hours before I get on the plane.

Or, if I'm out of pills, I just have a few mixed drinks in the bar ahead of time.

I haven't had a lot of luck with medication, and I blow of the effects of booze too quickly. I just worry I won't be able to step on the plane at the wrong side of the country. Almost happened to me once. But at least I'm traveling with Nin this time, so that should be better.

Oh, meant to add, you must come to Vegas next fall! That's the tentative time/location of the next Road Trip. We'll have fun sitting in the corner together!

i'm in the pittsburgh area and PW's going to be in Philly? info please? i start a new job in a couple weeks and i'm off FSS every week so the drive is doable after dialysis

Hello

The PW Fan Club is having a Road Trip to Philly to see the King Tut exhibit. It is being held as a friendship convention for the club. PW is attending as a guest of honor. The weekend is September 7 to 9. It is limited in space and size and I believe sold out, however, I am sure their is a waiting list and I think a few attendees have had to cancel so you never know.

Check out the PW website www.pwfc.org. I do not know of you can get access to the Philly info unless you are a member.
