We're back in California and I'm tuckered. Staying at Jen's today, and will head home this evening. We had a great time, and I got to see FIREFLIES!!! It was the highlight of my trip -- sorry, Peter. And the elevator story? I once was at a Star Trek convention with a friend (in the late 80's)looking at a dealer table with photos of the cast. And there was one of Janice Rand, and I couldn't remember Majel's name, so I said, "There's what'shername. You know, the one who married the producer. I wonder what happened to her." And the woman behind the table smiled at me and said, "My name is Majel and I'm right here." I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. It was mortifying. We all have these moments. Sadly.
