So, last night, the fandom internetz exploded with the news that Tom Hiddleston appeared at the beginning of the Thor II panel at Comic Con as Loki. Lots of pics of it on Tumblr, and I was insanely jealous :D Today, I saw it on YouTube!! I'll admit, I squeeed like my junior high friends used to squee over Leif Garrett -- yes, I'm old, look him up -- and I still have a silly grin on my face. Tom said, apparently, that he's just Loki's vessel, and I was thinking, after watching this, that if the book American Gods wasn't fiction, we'd be in trouble! Anyway, I'm smitten all over again, even if I am too old for it.

Date: 2013-07-22 01:12 am (UTC)From:I didn't know that Huddleston had said that about the character. Peter Wingfield said something similar about Methos of Highlander fame--that there is a Methos, and he (Peter) was fortunate enough to speak for him.
Also, am in need of Loki icons.
