I'm waiting for the cancellation axe to fall on some of what I'm watching. I'm also watching Bionic Woman, K-Ville, and I have Pushing Dasies on the DVR.
Watched the first ep of Moonlight finally. Some cheesy dialogue, but the premise and story wasn't too bad. I'm willing to give it another go. I love JOurneyman and Life, though!
It gets better. The first episode (and a lot of stuff from following eps) was such a Forever Knight ripoff, but I find the cast engaging enough that I'll forgive them [g] I really liked last week's episode a lot.
I like the characters in Moonlight but I wish they'd do some more interesting shows. Forever Knight, though I didn't agree with the writer's philosophy about vampires, made one think about the larger issues (vampires vs. religion, suicide, etc). I wish Moonlight would explore those weighty issues.
1. I don't agree that vampirism is analogous to alcoholism. Though many alcholics do die when they go sober, alcohol is not needed to survive. Blood is needed for vampires. They cannot give it up.
2. I was raised Catholic (am closer to Episcopalianism now) so I disagree with the episode where Nick 'dies' and the angel says that he cannot go to heaven just because he's a vampire. In other words, no matter how many good deeds Nick does, he cannot get into heaven. I believe that Nick could get into heaven/be redeemed even though he's a vampire through his good works.
3. I thought it was odd that the vampires could not have a relationship with humans without wanting to kill them. IMO, I think there's a middle ground (taking some blood but not killing them. I would have liked to see Vachon and Tracey together.
Heh, of those my whole family likes Chuck, Journeyman is growing on me, and my mom likes Moonlight. Also, since you mentioned it elsewhere in this thread, I've heard Pushing Daisies has gotten a full season pick up. :)

The last episode of Moonlight was a bit better and did something a little different from FK for once. Still waiting to see what they do.

And you could always do Addison/Dan if he got the job offer from the States and not Europe. (hint, hint)
