Top Three

The Modern Prometheus discussion has broken into the top three for number of comments. It's at 67 97 so far. 'Finale' is number one two with 88 comments, and 'Till Death' is number two three at 74.

That being said, I think this will be another one episode week. I don't think my brain can handle another ep discussion this week! Besides the discussion here, I'm following at least three other posts on the topic on other LJs. The fact MP was in my dreams last night seems as good a sign as any to wait till next week for anything new! :) So look for 'Indiscretions' 'Archangel' next week instead of the usual Wednesday -- if that's okay with everyone?

Also, at some point over the next few weeks, I'll put up a season one poll to see what episodes will be in the next round.

I think the "MP" discussion is now in the 90s!

Any particular reason you're skipping "Archangel"? Or do you prefer to pretend it never happened (as many people do, including myself sometimes)?

Ooops! You're right! Archangel is next, isn't it? I got confuzzled. Okay, Archangel will be next week! [g] Sorry, brain hiccup there.

As for MP, I'm still surprised that it was the ep with the majority of comments. If you'd asked me before the disucssions started, I would have guessed the Horseman eps would have been at least in the top three.

I'm not surprised. You are an excellent discussion hostess, and this ep is a fan favorite. The first time I saw it I was like, "Wow, Byron! Yes, it makes perfect sense!"

I only wish they'd done other episodes in which it turned out a famous person was in fact Immortal.

But I suppose that's what fanfic is for. :-)

Thanks :) I knew this ep was a favourite, but for it to be the fave, at least as far as comments go... Shows what I know!

Who was Flora MacDonald?

Fwiw, I'm not sure the large number of comments means it's necessarily the favorite episode. It may just be the episode there's the most to say about.

Yeah, I think I meant a fave as far as getting people involved in discussing it.

Flora MacDonald was the woman who dressed Bonnie Prince charlie as a woman and helped him escape. In HL, she was Ceridwyn, in RL, she's a Scots heroine. She later immigrated to North Carolina. Here's a bit about her (http://www.tartans.com/articles/famscots/floramacdonald.html). Interesting role she played in the decision of many Scots immigrants as to what side they took during the Revolution
