Dear god, I just looked at the ten day forecast, and it has rain listed for every single one of those ten days! I'm going to turn into a toadstool at this rate! Maybe I need to get a pair of Wellington boots.

I decided it was time! Rainboots will keep my jeans from getting soaked on the walk back and forth from work. It's particularly bad in the morning since the warehouse is so cold, my jeans take hours to completely dry. Checked Zappo's and Piperlime, the teo online shoe companies that offer free shipping and free return shipping, then remembered Amazon has a new shoe store like that. Checked them, and they have a special where they pay you to use overnight free shipping. and they carried Chookas, which the other two didn't. So I'm getting the Buffalo Plaid ones, thought she Skull and Crossbones ones were tempting!

Could be worse. We've been seeing highs in the teens with wind chills below zero (to teens below zero).

Not fun for us or the birds that reside in our back yard. Cardinals, woodpeckers, sparrows (not jack) and such.

Yeah, when it rains this much, it invariably means mudslides and roads washing out and even flooding. Hopefully we won't repeat 91 or 95.
