Okay, below the curtain I'm putting a casting spoiler for season two and a link to an article on the subject.

So don't click if you wish to remain pure [g]

Here's the article: Billie Piper to leave Doctor Who

Now, I've noticed a lot of new Who fans are really attached to Rose, and the idea of a relationship between the Doctor and Rose. I'm wondering if they realize that Companions come and go, and that this is normal Who operating procedure. Or was there an idea that it would be different in this new rendition? I thought the episode with Sara Jane made it all pretty clear in a brutal, and tear inducing, sort of way.

This is just me being curious :)

I wonder why she's leaving.. it's not like she had any career to speak of before *shrug* so long as she doesn't got back to 'singing' I'll survive quite happily - as will the show, I'm sure :)

I shall now sit back and wait for the saccharine Doctor/Rose fics where she leaves to protect his lovechild (SJ had to come from somewhere!).

Maybe she's Susan's grandmother [weg] Sarah Jane as the love child? Never woulda thought of that one [g]

I just hope the next companion holds up. I'd hate another Peri.

Well, maybe, but it pleased my brain in a goofy sort of way :)
