ithildin: (Taste - Wine & Cheese)
We finally started watching the Sara Conner Chronicles last night. It's pretty good! We didn't have episode two, but it's the only one we're missing. We'll try and do four through the end tonight. Then we'll tackle New Amsterdam.

[livejournal.com profile] ninjababe is being all house elfish tonight and is making the salad! Very nice! And she bought me flowers at the produce mart. Isn't she sweet? And I'm being lazy and making frozen Trader Joe's gnocchi for dinner. It's actually pretty good -- has frozen slices of the cheese sauce that melts over the hot gnocchi. So salad, gnocchi, baguette and a nice bottle of Zinfandel. I'm going to make a peach crumble for dessert.

I am so glad this week is over!

I liked SCC too. Interesting homage to the movies.

I watched all of NA so far. It has interesting moments. I like some of the changeups -- like he can have children. But the premise for his immortality is kinda dumb.

Yeah, the idea behind his immortality leaves me scratching my head. Is that a curse or a blessing? Answer: yes.

I'd enjoy the show a hell of a lot more if I can actually see and hear all of it. The satellite signal on both episodes I've seen is so bad it's nearly unwatchable. (We very rarely have any problems with our DirecTV except in bad storms, but Fox for some reason--the signal sucks.)
