For those that have seen it, I'm interested in what you thought happened after the movie ended. [livejournal.com profile] ninjababe was talking about the movie to a male coworker, and he'd never given any thought to what happened after the fade to black. OTOH, it was the first thing Nin and I talked about.

Both Nin and I decided that Wade breaks out of Yuma prison for the third time, then heads back to Alice and the boys, and starts a new life.

And if you haven't seen the movie, check it out. It was really quite good.

I loved this movie so much. And honestly, I'd never thought about what happens next, either. That makes sense to me, though. Wade had his own wacky sense of honor, and I think he'd feel it was his responsibility.

In other news, was that slashy, or what? Right down to the psycho ex-boyfriend. They even had to spend time in the Bridal Suite!

Yes! Thank you! I said that to Nin and she gave me the 'look'. The 'you aren't a slasher and there you go seeing slash in the strangest places again' look [g] That's what I call it at least. I pouted. But now, I have backup! [beems at Beeej] Ah hah!

It was a great movie! I always forget how much I like Westerns till I watch one.

Me, too. This is now one of my new favorite Westerns. When I got home from seeing it, and the husband asked me how it was, I said "I'm buying that movie".

My favorite Westerns is a pretty short list, though. Tombstone has long been my favorite. Val Kilmer has never been better than he was there.

Actually, I've started a story where Wade goes back to make sure that they got the money that was promised to them then goes to Mexico with the lass from the saloon, who decided when it was too late, that Ben was being serious and that it might be a good idea...

Haven't decided yet whether or not he takes out the rancher who had damned the river... It's a very Wade thing to do, though, I think.... He has a skewed sense of justice...

It would indeed be a very Wade thing to do.

I actually thought he never made it to the prison. Didn't he call his horse at the last moment to get off the train?

Great Movie i loved it

Yeah, he could have escaped the train as well. Either way, I don't think he was in custody long [g]

That makes as much sense as anything else! I love that movie. :-)
