Been meaning to do this one for a bit, but
keerawa's post this morning gave me a nudge.
Quote a bit of my writing at me? Find that one story of mine that you really like, and find a sentence or a paragraph that presses your prose-buttons in the right way, and comment here with it? Don't care how long or short.
I rarely get responses to these sorts of memes, but it doesn't hurt to throw it out there [g]
Fic is listed on sidebar, or here on the compendium post, or my archive.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed past him. "I'm selling Girl Guide cookies! Any more stupid questions?"
While 'I Remember You Not Fondly' probably pips "Takasago's Pines' nowadays for my favourite of your stories, this scene still cracks me up. I can just see Amanda doing this, and it makes me giggle, and chortle...and giggle a little more :-)

I don't like to think of Methos as "creepy" Methos....it's just too disturbing. I know he's 5000 yrs old, but I prefer to deal with the civilized Methos thank you very much!!
Now I want to go back and read the whole story line. Is there a particular order for these two lovebirds?

Date: 2008-04-16 11:48 pm (UTC)From:Well, yes, there is [g] Though I've been writing them for more than ten years, so at this point, I actually have an Excel spreadsheet to keep a timeline. Here's the intro page (http://www.ondragonswing.com/tales/bloodties.htm), with something of a recap of how this all started. But I normally suggest new to the series folks start with the story 'The Last Time We First Met' and 'When Did Forever Die?'. They're what I call clip stories. You know those Highlander episodes which were mostly assorted flashback clips? Well, this is a written version [g]
The stories are listed in chronological order, and I've divvied them up between present day and future. The archive is a few months behind in me updating it, but everything past that is here on LJ over in the sidebar. 'The Edge of the Nest' is where I need to start archiving, so it, and everything under it aren't on the archive yet. .
If you have any questions, feel free to pester me. Though you may be sorry you asked at this point [g] I get all happy and perky when someone wants to actually read more!
