I Need A Break

I don't know if I'm going to make it till my October vacation. It's been so long since I've had a real holiday, and with the stress at work, stress in general, health issues... you get the idea. And if I end up not being able to swing going to Memphis, I'm going to be one hundred kinds of unhappy. But I'm going to think postitive thoughts! I am going to Memphis, I am, I am, I am!!

Nin and I have talked about going to Reno for a weekend, but I'm not sure that will happen. A former coworker and his new wife moved there and keep bugging us to visit. But going anywhere out of the area requires a rental car, since my old Jimmy is, well, old, and I don't trust taking it too far away. Plus I'm not sure it'll make it over Donner Pass another time! [g] Poor old thing.

We are going up to Jen's to see Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Men's Chest on opening night, spending the weekend and celebrating my birthday a week early. So that should be a nice break to hold me. And maybe Roberta will come to visit at some point during the summer. That would be nice too.

I'll stop whining now!

Oh Sweetie I hope you manage to get time away soon it sounds like you need it.

Thought you might like to know that as I have not been able to get any other episodes of HL (only bitcometed Methos eps as all will take forever) I bought the complete watchers guide to Highlander to see what happens in the other seasons.
