Back when I was active in Forever Knight fandom, my fic was fairly popular, and it would get recced every now and again. But in Highlander fandom, my fic isn't all that popular, and I've never ever been recced. I just don't expect to see my stories on any rec list in the fandom. It's like one of those universal truths [g] So imagine my utter shock while perusing my f'list, to see one of my stories recced on hl_recs! I literally did a double take, or in this case a scroll back. And it's one of my favourite stories too! I'm sitting at my desk beaming -- I'd forgotten what a nice feeling it is. It's absolutely made my week! [does a little chair dance]

I have to get some things noted down, because I've had two recent character info drops in my brain and I don't want to lose them. You know how that goes, I'm sure. =D

*points to icon* The tiger... which reminds me. Since you say you like boys with toys, you might like the movie 'Jodhaa Akbar' because this actor is a warrior and there are some lovely bits with swords.

In the next month or so, I intend to post caps from 'Jodhaa Akbar' on my LJ, especially the sword ones. I'm like you and have a thing for boys with toys. ;D
