Some more detailed thoughts

I never thought Booth was dead. At first I thought it was a dream, and then, some sort of setup. Mostly becuase if DB was leaving the show, it would have been reported in the entertainment press, and I don't think I cold have avoided being spoiled in that case.

As for the Gormogon, last year, I thought it was Sweets, mostly due to reasons of opportunity for him to be the guy. Though now, I see those same opportunities applied to Zach. And also becuase I can't stand the guy, and getting rid of him would have mead em so happy! [g] Cut to last night. I start seeing all these reaction posts, so my thinking becomes, it can't be Sweets, no one would care that much. Or, it is Sweets and he killed one of the main cast members. So if he wasn't the apprentice, that left one of the mains, and it seemed like they would go with Zack or Hodgy. Zack seemed the most likely of the two. Why? Remember when Zach came back from Iraq and how devastating his experience there was exhuming the mass graves? To my mind, they never resolved those emotional issues -- till last night.

Upsetting, becuase I really liked Zach, but not totally out of left field for me. And damnit, Sweets is still around. Bah!

See if they hadmade the Iraq - emotional disturbed connection or if one of the charaters had simply said - you know he's never been the same since...

I might have excepted the revelation. As it was I could not wrap my mind around it at all.

I was so sure it was Sweets - no body can be that annoying and not be a serial killer [g]

That was my thinking about Zack and his war trauma. I can see, even though I don't like it, that Zack was the apprentice. But until the very end, in that scene in the house, I was expecting Sweets to be the master.

Maybe they'll dig up something nasty about Sweets next season. He's so totally up to something nasty.

I knew it couldn't have been Hodgins, since he basically is the financial backer for the Jeffersonian. Or something like that, established during the first season. That and the fact that he wouldn't have done anything to hurt Zach, ie the bomb.

I liked Zach, but he got on my nerves a bit. He was also getting really cocky and then making a lot of mistakes... almost like he wanted someone to realize what he was up to, so that he wouldn't have to confess.

Sweets is very annoying. I guess they're using him for the humourous angle, but David and the others can do humour quite well on their own. Besides, I really wanted it to be him.

I guess from the interviews that Hart has given they wanted to tie the post traumatic stress disorder to his behavior and didn't have the time/bandwidth to do it. I think they should have made the time.

And I agree, Sweets needs to leave because he is extremely annoying.
