I've accomplished a personal best with the Methos Iron Man fic. I've never gotten so many comments on a story before. It's rather mind boggling and unbelievable, like I think they meant to comment on some other person's fic instead of mine. Surely not that many people read, let alone liked, something that I wrote!

That's wonderful, Ith! I've been meaning to apologize, because I haven't been commenting on your fics lately. I've had "I Remember You Not Fondly" open on a tab for at least a week now, because I'm going to read the finished product, but I've been really stressed out these past few weeks and haven't been reading, much less commenting on *anything*, though I feel bad about it. I'm going to try to do better in the next few weeks though. ^^

I got totally gobsmacked by the number of comments on one of mine not so long back... there were so many it went to 2 pages. Seeing as I'm doing well for comments if I manage to get into double figures I was totally bowled over. It's a great feeling.

I know - I felt the same way when comments passed 50 for the first time on one of my stories.

It must be the style of my journal but I've never gone to 2 pages even on one entry that passed 90 comments. They just keep folding up.

After writing and posting for 12 odd years, I've never gotten 50 comments -- still haven't [g] This one is at 32ish. The total is 64, but half are my replies, so that leaves about 32 actual comments.

Of course - So many of my threads turn into repeated replies - I'm not sure of the total number of people commenting. But 30+ is great. I'm always happy when it hits double digits.
