Do you ever just get in a mind space where you think everything you're writing just sucks dead bunnies through a straw? I went nearly three years without writing a line of fiction, and then at Xmas, it was like a damn breaking. Since then, I've written and completed more than a dozen stories. I'm thinking I broke my brain from overuse at this point. Maybe I need to stop again for another three years.

Oh, all the time! I guess the only thing is to keep going, and take another look at it later. Sometimes, things aren't as bad as you thought. ;P

Been going through something of a slump myself. Part of it is because of being on hold for somethings that are going right now...

but so far its just a blip for the fanfiction...

as for ORIGINAL fiction...thats another story...have been struggling with this kind of lag for years...only through fanfiction have I been able to work up the courage to tackle writing again.

I stopped writing...

between ages 16 and 22, roughly. Fanfic saved me, i.e. made me try it again. I haven't thought about stopping again since then. I did not get much writing down last year though, but that wasn't due to conscious decision, but rather due to just having a lot of stress in so called Real Life.
