I got the Iron Man novelization in yesterday and read the first several chapters at lunch. Tony's power grows hourly!

I'm feeling a little poorly tonight, so I may just sit and read and save writing for tomorrow. Though Tony's really eager to tell Charlotte just how much he disapproves of her slacker boyfriend [g]

Anyone know, is Tony short for Anthony? The book always uses Tony Stark, even in the retrospective award thingie.

Should probably eat something.

I never would have connected Lisa with Elizabeth. Liz or Lizzie, but not Lisa. Must be the same people who insist on adding 'Y' and other letters to my name. It's Denise, but I've had it spelled Denyiece even!

Lisa is one of the derivatives of "Elizabeth", I believe. I used to know tons of crap about names and off-shoots of them. "Trixie" is a derivative of my name, "Teresa". And, God, I know what you mean! I have seen SO MANY variations of spellings of my name. When it seems so SIMPLE. At least to me it does!

It probably is, but it's just not one I usually ping on.

There was someone in our head office who kept sending me faxes with the name Dennis. He knew I was female. I finally got fed up one day, crossed out Dennis, wrote my name and then 'I'm a GIRL!'

It does. But it's also remarkable what horrible things people can do with Deborah. Not only spelling, but pronounciation.
