methos_fan pointed out these clips from the upcoming Methos DVD set and you know, when I see something titled "Duncan is Not My Type", I'm so there! I am such a very happy fangirl in this instant [sighs] Anyways, I start watching the video clip, and ninjababe asks, "What's with the porno music?" It all went down hill from there. I was laughing so hard I was in tears. Between that, and seeing Peter in the MiT preview tonight, I am content. Now, I'm going to go finish the Iron Man novel and go to sleep.

As for the interview, I'm with bleukittie - he was so full of shit his eyes should have been brown. None of his answers were believable. "I don't regret the killing." "I'm a man, my only regret is that I didn't love more women." Come on!

And the camel dung story! *laughs* That was such a mess of malarky. He also told Duncan he didn't remember his first death. So which is the truth?

And the question was have you had lovers of both sexes, although David tended to get tangled up trying to ask it. It wasn't even about Duncan. The answer should have been a yes or no answer, with elaboration if he wanted. In Vancouver, Peter said there was no furrow Methos had not plowed. Instead, here, he stumbled over the answer and finally said, Duncan was not his type. That wasn't even the question.

Canon? Yeah, that he was BS-ing the interviewer and not giving a straight answer.

Considering all the answers he gave, none of them appeared to be an honest answer- I didn't notice the music though.

But someone asked about the Albigension heresy, when Methos was in hiding with Darius in the Village ...happy happy happy.

Which, leads me to believe a) the answers were "totally" scripted b) there were WAY too many people in that room and c) come Vegas...boys...be afraid, be very very afraid!!!

BTW, how does everyone know what the questions were supposed to be? Was there a memo I missed? I guess I obviously don't travel n the right circles. [is baffled] But it's early and I'm not awake yet [g]

The questions were supposed to be "ones" asked by the fans themselves. Several months ago, we were asked to submit questions for Methos for this vid set.

And, David A. did specifically state..."Cathy Butterfield" ....Albegensian Hersey?

That DVD set is very tempting. However the shipping cost that's just over half the price of the set, isn't.

It's damned expensive. And part of it was, though I'll have to watch all the clips to see if I feel the same way as I did last night, that it was more like Peter fooling around talking to David as opposed to Methos. Yes, I know that sounds weird and I'm still trying to work it out myself :)

I think Methos was sometimes telling the truth, sometimes lying when answering the questions. I think with "Duncan is Not My Type" he was answering the implicit question, and was telling the truth. I totally think that Methos is bisexual though, just not attracted to Duncan.
I didn't pay attention to the music though.
