Again, this is from captnofmyheart, a video this time from Abney Park. Very cool! Like something you'd think you'd get if you merged Firefly and the Raven from Forever Knight :) I think I'm going to have to snag one of their CDs.

Doing a super quick google search it looks like they have a bunch of their music up on their website in the vault.

Have you looked on Amazon music? I saw something that made it look like they might be on there as well.

I'll take a look at Amazon. MusicMatch is giving me shit. I think they're mad I canceled my Unlimited membership with them a few months ago.

I'm not terribly interesting, but sure. :D Will obviously friend back, because we do have quite a few things in common! So hard to find seaQuest fans these days! That was my first hardcore online fandom. Ah, the old days!

Cheer up, I'm not terribly interesting either and I tend to have these long periods where I don't post because my life consists of work, which I do at home, my husband, who also telecommutes, and my cats, who don't really do anything useful. :)

If you go directly to their site and visit their vault you can pay for their album there...they are a DIY group but I am glad they made it available to iTunes...I was going to have the opposite problem of you if they didnt

This is very cool - if you like this, you would probably like the Cruxshadows - very similar concept and a TON of albums available.

I love Abney Park. And you might like The Last Dance (stable mates of the Cruxshadows) and Corvus Corax. The steampunk thing is becoming a bigger niche in the goth scene now which is cool, though Abney Park don't like being classed as goth I'm sure; still, you can class them under the 'music what goths like' banner even if they aren't goth.

I think Screaming Banshee Aircrew are great, though they aren't steampunk in the slightest; they do have a violinist though. SBA on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKLD6-LiMX0&feature=related) and on Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/screamingbansheeaircrew). The videos aren't the best quality though.
