Rambling in a completely different direction. Have you ever had a story fully realized in you head but just don't have the energy to get it typed onto the page. The story wants to come out but I'm just feeling Blah about it.
The sequel to 'Tequila Lullaby". I know exactly how it goes, but I'm just too tired to bother mostly. I've written ten words since I opened Word an hour ago :)
If I don't work on this, then it's the big Methos Charlotte fight, and I'm not ready for that yet :) On the other hand, I've written 15 more words! I think the pressure is getting to me [g] I'm not used to such enthusiastic desire for my fic and I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint people.
I have complete faith that you won't disappoint. Instead you should be flattered that you've struck a cord with fans. It is a wonderful feeling to know people are excited about your stuff - revel in it!
So I've written about 200 words! Giggling madly because this is a fun conversation and I'm feeling my Muse retuning - the one who bludgeons the words out of my head not the one who puts them there in the first pace.
I have written 456 words. Tony now has a housekeeper, her name is Olga. And Charlotte has mentally lamented the lack of tea during the American Revolution.

I think I really know Charlotte well because I hear her voice in my head saying these words. Well of course that voice is different then how you hear her but you know what I mean - you've given her a consistent voice.
I see her as a brunette and I can't remember if you established that fact or I just decided or she's really a blond and I forgot.
That's wonderful to hear :) Actually, she has ink black hair and pale blue eyes. I imagine her accent is a softer version of Methos'. And I realized she's the first OC immie who isn't contemporary. So this is new for me. Sometimes I wonder if I should do a quick bio of her.
I think that would be fun especially for those who are picking the series up in the middle. Your description amkes me think of Zoey Deschel in looks - not voice

I have a vague idea that the POTC movies took place in the early 1760s, and a general idea of her age, but not enough to pick a year [g] I know she was married to a Spanish nobleman when she was 17, and was a widow by 25. It was the trip from Central America back to Spain after her husband died where she met Jack Sparrow.
Tony reminds her of Jack. I think that's a big part of the reason she never slept with him. Didn't want to use him to try and recapture her past. Or something like that :)
Ah! I haven't seen either, but I'll look her up on IMDB.
Thanks. When I wrote my OFC - I picked the actress first so I could base my physical description on her and stay consistent in my own mind. I guess i was already creating this distinct personality i saw that picture as my anchor. That's her with Sam in my Icon
I've come to discover I'm odd that way, Until I got on LJ, I'd never run across the idea of finding a RL template for an OFC. They just exist in my mind's eye. It's when I wish I could draw, because then, I could show what they looked like!
