This is why I always keep a little pile of tissues next to me when I watch Army Wives. I used every single one. Now I'm all stuffed up. I so love this show! I need to find a comm that suits.


Little Finn is so adorable! And his invisible friend who turned out to be, I'm assuming, an angel for Claudia Joy. And throw in Joan of Arc for a whole theme of faith and love. Then we had Roland becoming a friend to troubled teens, and Betty explaining why she didn't like kids. all around a wonderful episode.

It was a good episode. The Roland thing threw me though. So, she meets him at a dinner, and next thing he is her confident? And did I miss something earlier? When did Finn get an imaginary friend? (Oh, He is adorable! Finn I mean.)

I am having trouble with Betty. The anger thing is a bit much. The people I have known recently who have found out they have cancer (unfortunately a lot and all a lot further along then stage 1) haven't shown such anger. They all talk about the little things like sitting on a swing with spouse, seeing a son graduate,etc. She is just angry at the world and has been from day 1. I wonder how much is the cancer and how much is she feels she has nothing to live / fight for?

She knows he's her mom's friend, and I'm sure they've run into each other a few times. The imaginary friend was only in this episode. As for Betty, that's just Betty. She's an unpleasant angry person a lot of the time anyways.

Stering who plays Roland is a great guy.
He and my sister knew each other from when the were in rival high schools.
They both tried out for plays in the area.
He came down to Florida and stayed with my sister's family last year and called Drew Fuller and let me talk to him. (I was fangirling all the cast members he told me about)
My sister even got to visit the set this year and went out to dinner with the cast.
