Basically have spent the evening trying to get the laptop tweaked to how I like it. I think this is as good as it'll get. Will haul the PC into work on Monday and see if my boss can f=do anything to rescue it.
Tomorrow, we are going to a going away party for our fave Mexican place in the mall. The new mall management is kicking them out after 20+ years. Then, we're heading to Ventana Vineyards 30th anniversary party out in the boonies of Soledad. Best part is that they pick us up in a bus here in Monterey, and bring us home again! I'm very glad we joined their wine club!
The kitten is asleep, and Sparrow is sulking.
On that note, I'm heading for bed.
