My friends are at WorldCon, and I'm not. Le sigh. But I'm glad they all seem to be having a great time! I just wish I was there to have a great time with them, you know? Maybe I need to have a mini con at my apartment this weekend! Me, myself, and the cats. Unless anyone wants to come down to Monterey and join me!

We're in the same boat, because I'm not at worldcon either.

In this, you have my symathies. I keep telling myself, maybe next year. The weird thing is that I always seem to miss the close ones. I couldn't make Nasfic when it was at archon in 2007, and I get a invited every year for that one.

Same here. I presupported Anaheim a few years back, but then we had to move in Sept. and I couldn't go. I've decided to presupport Reno in 2011 and see if I can make that one happen!
