Still re-downloading software to get the computer back up to snuff. I think I've got everything at this point, but I bet I've forgotten something!

Thanks to Norrington, I have a bleeding gouge from the middle of my thumb 8 inches down the inside of my wrist. I was holding him, he got freaked and launched himself out of my hands. He also thinks the entire apartment is one big toy box. I swear, I don't think my living room is going to survive. His favourite thing is the silk flowers I have in a container in front of the TV. He leaps into the bucket and wrestles with the flowers before dragging them out and around the room.

The tortilla from last night was good, but way too bland. I'm glad I added garlic! So the next time, I'm adding either bacon or prosciutto, Parmesan cheese, and some herbs. That should fix it right up!

He's our new kitten. He was a stray that an LJ friend found but couldn't keep, so she drove him 3 odd hours here. Our other cat is called Sparrow, after Jack, so I couldn't resist!

Yes, I did. It's eggs, potatoes and onion, salt and pepper baked in a pan. That's it. I added garlic because it was just too blah. Still too blah. I'll fix it the way I think it should be next time.

My recipe is thin sliced potatoes, chopped onions, red and green peppers chopped all cooked in hot olive oil, seasoned salt (Lawry's I believe) and freshly ground pepper. Then the eggs after which it's put into the oven, iirc.

Been a while since I made it. Should make it again soon. I wouldn't call it bland. But you have a much more cosmolitan table nor I, it's true.

Kittens are like that, aren't they?

I remember how Bandit (long gone) managed to break his leg as a kitten. Once he realized he could terrorize his brother and sister with a shoulder-high cast, he was a happy kitten. He also enjoyed lovingly 'patting' Devra on the face with the cast while she was sleeping. That got her up to feed him REAL fast.
