How come when I don't have the money, this turns out to be the autumn with shoes and purses I really want? I've been wanting a new purse for a few years now, and haven't found anything that grabbed me that wasn't outrageously priced. So I get Fossil's fall preview email, and look! A bunch of purses I really want. And in shoes, vintage style shoes are in, finally! But, alas... Yes, I'm pouting.

I hear ya. I was at the haircutter's on Tuesday, glancing through the September (GIGANTIC) Vogue, and I actually saw stuff I liked!

Sorry about the money situation. I have the money but no place to wear nice stuff. Everything I wear has to be able to stand up to Dry-Erase markers.

I hear ya, loud and clear! See all those cute baby doll tops and smocks and trapeze tops and such? Straight out of my early teens in 1973. And now that I've lost weight (fifty pounds so far) I'm DYING to get my hands on one. Just dying.

Only my pocketbook says otherwise.

In this case, the bags are practical. I use a backpack purse every day since I walk to work, and have been using the same one for about five years now. Fossil has an actual leather one that would be such a nice change from the fake leather one :)

I don't get to wear nice stuff either. Jeans and t-shirts are pretty much my daily work wear.

Yes, it was very pretty! But it isn't quite big enough as a work purse, I'm afraid :) (for those wondering, I stole a purse of Roberta's when we were in NV. It's soft brown, a little bigger than those billfolds on straps type bags.)
