I have done ZERO today. I slept in, got up, made tea, and have pretty much been in front of the computer since. Nin should be home soonish, so maybe I'll get some housework done then. Or not. I'm going to make chili burgers for dinner. We were going to a movie, but I'm not feeling it.

Would you believe that I actually got something (at home) done today?

Six years ago we redid most of the first floor so that my wife would feel comfortable hosting an indoor open house for our middle child(Merry)'s HS graduation. (She has since graduated from college.)

Well today, I finally finished replaced the front closet doors that were part of "finishing the job". And its about time, but the difference in the front hall is most disturbing.

Now that just leaves replacing the fence post that is no longer holding up the back fence.

After five hours of work, the fence post is now replaced.

All of my outdoor repair tasks are complete before Labor Day.

To finish out the weekend, I picked up a copy of "Hoist the Colours" from MusicNotes.com (http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/scorch.asp?ppn=SC0038492).

Needless to say I transposed it into the key of G Minor before printing it to make it easier to play on the mandolin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandolin).
