Just got home, need to go to bed, work early in the morning. But, we had much fun! Saw Dead Man's Chest twice, really want to write more Jack Sparrow fic now. also saw Dr. Who, Doomsday, the season ender ep. Most excellent. Went swimming Sat. and Sun., ate too many sweets, for my birthday, got season one of All Creatures Great & Small on DVD and made everyone watch first two eps since none of them had ever seen the series, or read the books. That's the short and sweet version :)

Now, sleep!

Hi, Glad you had good time :) Now you do realise that our list of common TV loves is getting longer by the minute, not only House, Highlander and Greys Anatomy but now Dr Who and All creatures great and Small! Are you combining the loves like me with the 5th doctor and Tristan?

Going to see Dead mans Chest later today (then off to Devon for 2 weeks!) What did you think of Doomsday? I started crying when Jackie hugged Pete then didn't stop!

I've loved All Critters since I first read the books in the 70s and TV series of course. And a big Peter Davison fan! I met him at a con once many years ago. Nice guy.

I thought DW was good, though I have to say I'm glad we're moving on from Rose. Nothing against her, but the shippiness of the series had started to irk me [g]

Isn't Dead Man's Chest fantastic? I couldn't resist the making of a new icon in its honour, along with David Tennant's funky specs!

All Creatures Great and Small, eh? Now there's a blast from the past. I remember being really confused when Tristan turned into Doctor Who :)

Heh, that's the shot from one of the adverts that ran last month I was going to make an icon of.

Yes, I loved it. Not as much as the first one, but still great. My quibbles were mostly about the unbalanced aspect of it. They really could have toned down the slapstick IMHO. I thought it impacted some important scenes quite negatively.
