What? Daniel belongs with Jack and Rodney belongs with John. You can't leave two geeks roaming wild out there without a Colonel or two to keep them safe (and warm).
On the other hand, the chemistry was fantastic and the snark was incredible. But they both talk so fast and so much, when would they ever shut up long enough to do anything? That's why they need their Colonels.
Wouldn't work. John and Jack would get all Alpha male over their geeks while Daniel and Rodney stood by and did a snarky play-by-play. It would funnier than hell to see but, in the end, they'd drag their geeks off for some one on one.
