Norrington is not having the reaction he was supposed to. Instead of being lethargic and sleepy, he hasn't stopped since last night. He slept for maybe ten minutes in my lap and that was it. At 4am, we finally decided to put in him the big carrier so we could get some sleep, and I think he banged around in there till I got up at 630am. The only plus is that I finally managed to get the collar at the right tightness, so he's stopped getting it off every 15 minutes. I spaced out some small amounts of food over the hour before I left for work so he wouldn't gorge himself, and Nin can give him more when she gets up. Sparrow's terrified of him. I think it a combination of strange smell and the collar. She been hiding in my room under the chair.

Awww, poor Sparrow. But I'm glad to hear you got the turbo kitty stopped for a short span. I hope you are able to make up for the sleep deprivation from feline energy overload. *hugs*

Apparently he's still at it.

Which is why I'm very glad I didn't have to deal with the baby boy post-op. He goes on crazy rampages on a regular basis.

I recommend a little bit of catnip. Maybe that will settle him for a little bit.

Huh. I always thought catnip made them nutty. Will have to pick some up.

It does, but it also tires the little buggers out. Whenever I need to cats to quit bothering me, I give them some.

Geez, sounds like a little old lady on Valium... supposed to calm them down, but 99% of the time they act like you gave them speed.

Well, if people can have paradoxical reactions to medications, I suppose cats can too.

entirely up to you, will your kitten drink wine, or maybe just concuss him slightly with the bottle? (just kidding, I only abuse my own body, no one else's :P)
