I find his reply on amnesia interesting. I had first hand experience with short-term amnesia with my ex. It was caused by a mild concussion. When he woke up, he thought it was 2 years earlier and kept insisting that he had to get home to his wife. This was very disconcerting because at the time, I was his wife AND six months pregnant! Thankfully, that bit was short-lived, but it took a week before all the gaps finally filled back in again.
