It's at 1200 words and I'm not even close to being finished! How in the hell did that happen? Can't I write a short, to the point ficlet anymore?

So it's safe to say this story's going to be way more than the one parter I planned on.

All I can tell you is both of the short things I thought I was writing are now up to 13K and 18K respectively.

But then I never could write anything short.
