Thanks to everyone who left a comment yesterday about Chiana. I appreciate each and every one. When mum got home from work last night at 11pm, I started crying all over again with her.

Chi was one of four kittens we rescued when we lived in Carmel Woods. People were always dumping cats, and these must have all been from the same litter. Pippin and Sedona I caught fairly easily, but Chiana and Stormy were borderline feral at that point, and teeny tiny runts of the litter. I finally got Chiana, but it took a raccoon trap to get Stormy. We ended up keeping all four.
