I have the urge to watch POTC:CofBP -- it's the listening to the soundtrack that does it every time! I have all three in an iTunes folder and that's what I'm currently listening to.
Of course what I should do, is vacuum my room. It's a mess. I love the new wood floors, but the dark colour shows every kitty and puppy hair, not to mention every other speck o crud.
I'm going to the nursery with my brother later. Apparently, I volunteered [g] I'm going to pick out herbs I want, plus chili peppers, and he's getting tomato, eggplant, bell peppers, and goodness knows what else.

Date: 2009-03-28 07:58 pm (UTC)From:That's a lot of trees to harvest and fruit to put up! If you have peaches, though, I've heard it's best to add sugar and freeze them (the sugar absorbs water so that you don't get broken up ice crystals when you freeze them.) I saw some of an ep of Good Eats where Alton Brown talked about that. They're supposed to do better that way. If you're interested, you could try looking it up on the Food Network site.
Oh! She's in heat! So I'm assuming she usually is good about the litter box thing? Gotta get Pixie spayed! It's just she's so small and slim. Ask Tam! She's our little waif supermodel! [whine] I'll just have to get it over with. [sigh]

Date: 2009-03-28 07:49 pm (UTC)From:Ooh, plants! I got bunches of seeds, even found one of catnip, which I'll have to put in a hanging container since so many of the cats around here wander by. I'm just waiting until we get past the night coming up that'll be in the low to mid thirties, since there's no place inside to put the seed starter thingie where it can get sun and the cats can't knock it off. Then I have to hope they can make it outside once they outgrow that, since we've had up and down weather here. Of course I'm doing all this to attract birds and butterflies for the cats' (and I guess the humans' too [g]) enjoyment.
