ithildin: (Iron Man - Walk)
A bunch of first day of shooting photos are on one of the Iron Man comms, and I had to share this one, because it makes me grin. I'm sure it's probably a toolbox or something, but god, it looks like a lunchbox, and it cracks me up. Throw in the cigar and my day has been made.

And yes, you can expect much squee over the coming months! IM II! Whee!

The box looks like something we would transport a gyro in and the guy looks an awful lot like Stan who works down the hall.

What I don't understand is the heels. Normal "Stature Shoes" look just like ordinary shoes and provide just as much lift. The bottom of a stature shoe looks normal while the upper looks more like a "boot" and hides the lift. A stature shoe can increase a man's height as much as 3½ inches over a normal shoe.

Maybe its a stature shoe with heels. That would be painful as most guys don't take to well to 6 inch heels.

I didn't even realize stature shoes existed until a year or so ago. Not that I would want to wear them since I'm already 6 foot ¾ inches tall. (I have a friend who is 5 foot 18 inches tall.)

Stature shoes are not generally available. You can get them through the net, but I doubt if they are available in regular stores.

I guess they dropped the name "elevator shoes" cause it looked too tacky.
