Sympathetic to my strange mood of last night, mischief5 wrote me the loveliest bit of Methos fic! It's been a very long, long time since someone has written a story for me, and I'm still all stoked about it this morning. Thank you so much, M! [HUGS]

Oh, sorry, I didn't reply sooner. I've been out and about all day with my mom. Harassed our doctor, threatened my sister, scared her daughter, snarfed down tacos, shopped til we dropped and generally created mayhem wherever we went. Who knew dying could be so much fun? VBEG...

I meant to ask! The sandalwood. Have I ever mentioned how much I love that scent, or was it just a coincidence? Or a psychic flash? :)

It must have been a psychic flash. I don't usually add scents to my stories because I'm allergic to perfumes and colognes. That just seemed to find its way in there on its own.

Very strange, now that you mention it. I did use the words fey and feral because you mentioned that those two words seemed to fit Methos in your mind. (Those were little clues that the story was about you and you missed them!) But the sandalwood came from left field. I'm not even sure I know what it smells like except that it's a little more "manly" than most scents. Weird.

I hope I'm not starting to channel you. I have enough trouble channeling Methos. *gg*

LOL! No channeling me would be scary :) It was just after the fact that I wondered since sandalwood is a scent that is probably my favourite, and I never remembered mentioning it. So it added another cool layer to your fic :) I have a sandalwood fan that is one of my most fond possessions. The scent of the actual wood is softer than the oil.
