aka Custom Friends Groups. It's a way to read certain chosen LJ and post to only certain chosen LJs.

A lot of ppl read their LJ with a filter, and my assumption is I'm filtered out a lot :) As for posting, I have a few filters, one for stuff that I need to keep really locked down, and one I use for my fic elves [g] Basically fic stuff that a few people have volunteered to be a sounding board for.

They're the same thing :) You can choose the filter from the dropdown on your friends list to read or from the posting dropdown.

Yes, I've installed a crying room on the next level down. comes complete with a tequila drip. sort of like what hamsters drink from, you know? That way, it's hands free so you can hold lots of tissue.

Can I join, too? I haven't even seen the danged thing, but I've heard all about it (my friends are waaaay to vocal) and now I really, really need to curl up somewhere.

Clearly, RTD has this master plan to tear me to shreds emotionally what with this and the Tenth Doctor's upcoming demise... Er, I don't suppose this bunker will be availabe for the final DW episodes as well?

Speaking of "all stupid show endings and their creators" reminds me, while I sat through "CoE: Day Five" feeling mostly numb it reminded me of how I was at Forever Knight's series finale. With Cohen, Schanke and Vachon I'd hit my three character deaths limit before that very last episode. I was horrified in both cases by the awfulness of the writing involved, but too emotionally drained to be as violently upset as I had the episode before it.

*Nods.* And the similarities go beyond my reactions to the episodes. FK - Cohen and Schanke were killed in one episode. TW - Tosh and Owen were killed in one episode. FK - The last character of my three strikes was the one I thought was the prettiest. TW - the last character of my three strikes is the one I think is the prettiest. It provides a certain morbid comfort. I survived the end of FK. I can survive the end of TW, for me. It still hurts like Hell.
